Self Improvement 

Self improvement, also known as self development, personal development, self help and many other names is referring to the act taking one one action to improve one own self.

We know that before you can help others, you must help yourself first. Helping yourself can be done in many ways - through others or on your own. People join club such as alcoholic anonymous, toast master club, and other support clubs as way to let others help themselves.

Off course the other way is to use your own knowledge to help your self. If you are not knowledgable, then you can use resources such as books, seminar, and trainings to equipt yourself to help yourself. This is the basis of the whole "self help" and "self improvement" concept.

The main goal of the self help industry is to empower people to improve themselves on their own.

What are the things that people need help off? A lot ....almost uncountable. But some of the major categories are:
  • help to get ridd off bad habits - alcoholic, compulsive behaviors, procastination, fobias etc.
  • help to improve one attitude -  to be motivated, persistence, positive thinking, 
  • help to be more skill full -  speed reading, photo reading, public speaking, accelerated learning,  time management, 
  • improve biological processes - better brain function, meditation, brainwave entrainment, tapping into subconscious mind
What are the goals of improving all these things?
Among the common one are :
  • become better person to others (family, friends, parents, boss)
  • more wealth
  • gain more respect - recognize as expert, or some one who have achieved it
  • ...and overall the goal is to ACHIEVE WHATEVER THAT YOU ARE DREAMING OFF.....!!!!!
So the first step even before you start any effort of personal help or self improvement ask yourself:
